1. AT A TIME LIKE THIS, when the airwaves are jammed with dreadful PREDICTIONS of what lies ahead, it is reassuring to TRUST in the ALL-KNOWING God “… I am God, and there is none like me, DECLARING THE END FROM THE BEGINNING, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, MY COUNSEL SHALL STAND, and I WILL DO ALL MY PLEASURE” [Isaiah 46:9-10] COVID-19 is His COUNSEL, to DEMYSTIFY those who claim to be “THE GREAT POWER OF GOD” [Acts 8:10] The inability of the world’s most developed nations to stem the pandemic is God disproving SCIENCE to draw you closer to WISDOM, “… God hath chosen the FOOLISH THINGS OF THE WORLD TO CONFOUND THE WISE; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty” [1 Corinthians 1:27[ In the WISDOM of God, the nations that seem to be WISE and have the most advanced medical systems are worse hit, so you will look beyond men to seek WISDOM, “So shall the KNOWLEDGE OF WISDOM be unto thy soul: when thou hast found it, then there shall be a reward, and THY EXPECTATION SHALL NOT BE CUT OFF” [Proverbs 24:14]
2. AT A TIME LIKE THIS, when our ears and eyes are daily assaulted with MISINFORMATION and DISINFORMATION, refuse to be deceived; thus, says the Lord: “… Yet once more I SHAKE NOT THE EARTH ONLY, but also heaven” [Hebrews 12:26-27] Every system of human civilization will be SHAKEN and the center will no longer hold. This pandemic is a “SHAKING” and there are more to come, famine and unparalleled natural disasters as the ELEMENTS are SHAKEN. The present global financial grid will be “SHAKEN” and MONEY shall FAIL, as it once did in Egypt, “And when MONEY FAILED in the land of Egypt, and in the land of Canaan, all the Egyptians came unto Joseph, and said, Give us bread: for why should we die in thy presence? FOR THE MONEY FAILETH” [Genesis 47:15] Anarchy is looming; hordes of hungry and angry men shall bring down many governments, looting and scavenging for food on the streets. In the midst of unprecedented chaos, there shall arise a man who shall promise and indeed restore a measure of balance across the globe. Nations and many religious leaders will yield their flocks and resources to him, but the SAINTS he shall persecute, as it is written: “And he opened his mouth in BLASPHEMY AGAINST GOD, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven. And it was given unto him to MAKE WAR WITH THE SAINTS, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations” [Revelation 13:6-7]
3. AT A TIME LIKE THIS, the world and popular face of Christianity on the same page, you cannot afford to anchor your TRUST in man, including your Pastor, but in the Lord “Thus saith the LORD; CURSED BE THE MAN THAT TRUSTETH IN MAN, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD” [Jeremiah 17:5] If truly you have found GRACE in Jesus Christ, who gave His LIFE for us, I charge you to place all your EXPECTATIONS in Him and “… present your bodies A LIVING SACRIFICE, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And BE NOT CONFORMED TO THIS WORLD: but be ye transformed by the RENEWING OF YOUR MIND, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, WILL OF GOD” Romans 12:1-2] A SACRIFICE is a LIFE given in EXCHANGE for another LIFE, as Jesus did. In like manner, God demands that we present ourselves as LIVING SACRIFICES, in CONFORMITY with Jesus Christ, who “… HUMBLED HIMSELF, and became OBEDIENT TO DEATH, even the death of the cross. Wherefore GOD ALSO HATH HIGHLY EXALTED HIM, and given him a name which is above every name” [Philippians 2:7-9] Do not for any reason allow your SOUL to be overwhelmed with demands of this world, but constantly RENEW your EXPECTATIONS on the coming of the Lord. Train your EXPECTATIONS on God not on politicians or religious leaders, and God will exalt you in due season “For surely there is an end; and THINE EXPECTATIONS SHALL NOT BE CUT OFF” [Proverbs 23:18]
4. AT A TIME LIKE THIS, when it seems all HOPE of a better tomorrow is dashed, it is reassuring to know God has it all worked out in your favour “But there shall NOT AN HAIR OF YOUR PERISH" [Luke 21:18] God has prepared a new HEAVEN and new EARTH for those who accept His offer of PEACE, through FAITH in Jesus Christ [Revelation 21:1] Friend, the “EXPECTED END” is so close when “… the DEAD IN CHRIST SHALL RISE FIRST: Then we which are ALIVE and REMAIN SHALL BE CAUGHT UP with them in the clouds, to MEET THE LORD IN THE AIR: and so shall we ever be with the Lord” [1 Thessalonians 4:16-17] The work of REDEMPTION is fast running to an end, now more than ever is the time to receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour, “For he will finish the work, and CUT IT SHORT IN RIGHTEOUSNESS: because a SHORT WORK WILL THE LORD MAKE UPON THE EARTH” [Romans 9:28] Remember, it is a “SHORT WORK”, “In a moment, IN THE TWINKLING OF AN EYE, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the DEAD SHALL BE RAISED incorruptible, and WE SHALL BE CHANGED” [1 Corinthians 15:52] The next moment may be too late.
