1. In 2020, we saw a conjunction of SCIENCE, POLITICS and false RELIGION, ostensibly to fight COVID-19, but in reality, a sinister realignment of all structures of POWER; the NEW NORMAL. As we count the gains and losses of the year gone by, let every man search his own conscience. The real losses of 2020 were not the body bags or catastrophic economic distress but SAINTS who were DECEIVED and or DISTRACTED by massive campaigns of DISINFORMATION and derailed from the ‘OLD PATHS”. This year, I have a WORD from the Lord for His SAINTS; ”RUN IN YOUR LANE” and you will not be DISTRACTED by the NEW NORMAL, “… Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ASK FOR THE OLD PATHS, where is the GOOD WAY and WALK THEREIN, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein” [Jeremiah 6:16] After COVID-19, the world would never be the same; it has changed forever and continues to mutate under influence of the NEW NORMAL. RUN IN YOUR LANE, the OLD PATH in which you walked at the onset of your FAITH in Jesus Christ, and “YE DID RUN WELL, WHO DID HINDER YOU that ye should not obey the truth?” [Galatians 5:7]
2. As the world slips into TWILIGHT ZONE and hazy lines between FACT and FICTION are erased, it is prudent to RUN IN YOUR LANE, “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies A LIVING SACRIFICE, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service And BE NOT CONFORMED TO THIS WORLD: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind…” [Romans 12:1-2] If you will RUN IN YOUR LANE, prepare for sustained assault of LIES and HALF-TRUTHS against the tenets of FAITH in the WORD OF TRUTH. There shall be distress, social dislocations and panic in many nations and many who once BELIEVED shall fall away, as it is written: “They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us” [1 John 2:19] Prepare ahead, to restructure your relationships and readdress your priorities, laying aside every weight “… and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and LET US RUN WITH PATIENCE THE RACE that is set before us” [Hebrews 12:1] Do not BELIEVE everything you SEE, READ or HEAR, but “PROVE ALL THINGS HOLD FAST THAT WHICH IS GOOD” [1 Thessalonians 5:21]
3. I know you have EXPECTATIONS for the new year, let your EXPECTATION be in Christ and RUN IN YOUR LANE, remember “… every man that striveth for the mastery is TEMPERATE IN ALL THINGS. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but WE AN INCORRUPTIBLE” [1 Corinthians 9:25] I plead with you to be “TEMPERATE IN ALL THINGS”, CRUCIFY the FLESH and RUN with certainty of HOPE in the Coming of the Lord, “… for your heavenly FATHER KNOWETH THAT YE HAVE NEED OF ALL THIESE THINGS. But SEEK YE FIRST THE KINGDOM of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you” [Matthew 6:32-33] The race has been long, and the END is in sight, Settle in your mind to RUN IN YOUR LANE and avoid DISTRACTION, “For surely THERE IS AN END; and THINE EXPECTATION SHALL NOT BE CUT OFF” [Proverbs 23:18] Listen carefully, those who ENTICE you with PREDICTIONS earthly things DISTRACT you from the certain and imminent appearance of Jesus Christ. I charge in the name of Lord, RUN IN YOUR LANE “LOOKING UNTO JESUS the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him ENDURED THE CROSS, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God” [Hebrews 12:2]
4. It’s a new year and there is no better time than now receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour, and RUN IN YOUR LANE to ETERNAL RELEVANCE, amen
