1. DEATH is demystified with the KNOWLEDGE of TRUTH, “And ye shall KNOW THE TRUTH, and the TRUTH SHALL MAKE YOU FREE” [John 8:32] The RIDDLE is resolved in UNDERSTANDING; LIFE is God manifest in CREATION, "And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and BREATHED INTO HIS NOSTRILS the BREATH OF LIFE; and MAN BECAME A LIVING SOUL" Genesis 2:7) "BREATH OF LIFE" is not OXYGEN, it is the CONSCIOUSNESS of God in us. We are ALIVE, LIVING SOULS, as long as His “BREATH” flows in us via FELLOWSHIP with Him. When God said to Adam, "But of the TREE of the knowledge of good and evil, THOU SHALT NOT EAT OF IT: for IN THE DAY THAT THOU EATEST THEREOF THOU SHALT SURELY DIE", physical DEATH was not the immediate intention but cessation of FELLOWSHIP [Genesis 2:17) When they ate of the forbidden TREE, the flow of LIFE ceased; they DIED in SEPARATION from God, “Therefore the LORD God SENT HIM FORTH FROM THE GARDEN of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken” [Genesis 3:23] Adam was a LIVING SOUL in Eden, a LIVING DEAD in the world, as it is written: “But she that liveth in pleasure is DEAD WHILE SHE LIVETH” [1 Timothy 5:6]
2. When Satan said to Eve, “YE SHALL NOT SURELY DIE”, he LIED [Genesis 3:4] The first Adam was not equipped with ENDLESS LIFE, as it is written:"... Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, LEST HE PUT FORTH HIS HAND, and TAKE ALSO OF THE TREE OF LIFE, and eat, and LIVE FOR EVER” [Genesis 3:22] Adam owed his LIFE to OBEDIENCE but through DISOBEDIENCE came under SENTENCE OF DEATH, “For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your EYES SHALL BE OPENED, and YE SHALL BE AS GODS, knowing good and evil” [Genesis 3:5] The "GODS" here refer to Satan and his hosts of fallen angels, who being found in TRANSGRESSION were condemned to separated from God through SENTENCE OF DEATH, "Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; WANDERING STARS, TO WHOM IS RESERVED the BLACKNESS OF DARKNESS FOR EVER" (Jude1:13) We, likewise, fell under CONDEMNATION of DEATH, becoming in "LIKENESS" as GODS of hell; this is the FIRST DEATH. We became as criminals serving LIFE SENTENCE with hard labour, without Parole. The only way out being disintegration of the BODY, “... Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: CURSED IS THE GROUND for thy sake; in SORROW shalt thou eat of it all the DAYS OF THY LIFE” [Genesis 3:17] Earth is the prison yard of FIRST DEATH, but there is worse to come for those who deny REDEMPTION through Jesus Christ, “But the FEARFUL, and UNBELIEVING, and the ABOMINABLE, and MURDERERS, and WHOREMONGERS, and SORCERERS, and IDOLATERS, and all LIARS, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the SECOND DEATH” [Revelation 21:8]
3. We all came into this world, DEAD to God, SEPARATED from LIFE that flows from fountain of GLORY, “For ALL HAVE SINNED and COME SHORT of the GLORY of God; Being JUSTIFIED FREELY BY HIS GRACE through the REDEMPTION that is in Christ Jesus” [Romans 3:23-24]God was the only ONE who could deliver us from SENTENCE OF DEATH, and that was what He did, “To wit, that GOD WAS IN CHRIST, RECONCILING the WORLD UNTO HIMSELF, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation” [2 Corinthians 5:19] When God arrived in Eden to SAVE him, Adam could no longer withstand the GLORY of RIGHTEOUSNESS; he hid himself. In the fulness of time, God took the form of a man in Jesus Christ “… that THROUGH DEATH he might DESTROY HIM THAT HAD the POWER of DEATH, that is, the DEVIL; And deliver them who through FEAR OF DEATH were all their LIFETIME SUBJECT to BONDAGE” [Hebrews 2:14-15] In Jesus Christ, the JINX of DEATH is broken; no more slaves to SIN or in BONDAGE to FEAR of DEATH, "For YE HAVE NOT RECEIVED THE SPIRIT OF BONDAGE AGAIN TO FEAR; but ye have received the SPIRIT OF ADOPTION,, whereby we cry, Abba, Father" (Romans 8:15) By ADOPTION, we became "NEWLY CREATED", as NEW as when Adam was freshly minted, "Therefore IF ANY MAN BE IN CHRIST, HE IS A NEW CREATURE: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new” [2 Corinthians 5:17] The same who gave Adam “BREATH OF LIFE” did more for us; He BREATHED on us ETERNAL LIFE “And when he had said this, HE BREATHED ON THEM, and saith unto them, RECEIVE YE THE HOLY GHOST” [John 20:22]
4. Are you tormented by FEAR of losing this BODY to DEATH? Listen, you are DEAD already by reason of SIN, “The STING OF DEATH IS SIN; and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, which giveth us the VICTORY THROUGH OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST” [1 Corinthians 15:56-57] Friend, I bring you GOOD NEWS of VICTORY over SIN and DEATH through Jesus Christ. To embrace this NEW LIFE of VICTORY, you must give up the SENTENCE OF DEATH, "Being BORN AGAIN, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, BY THE WORD OF GOD , which LIVETH AND ABIDETH FOR EVER" (1 Peter 1:23) There is no SHORT CUT, YOU MUST BE BORN AGAIN to triumph over FIRST DEATH and SECOND DEATH, “... I AM the RESURRECTION, and the LIFE" says the Lord, "... he that BELIEVETH in me, THOUGH HE WERE DEAD, YET SHALL HE LIVE: And whosoever LIVETH and BELIEVETH in me SHALL NEVER DIE. Believest thou this?” [John 11:25-26] The window of GRACE is OPEN NOW, it may be SHUT the next moment, when the Lord shall appear to receive His BRIDE, for "... the DEAD IN CHRIST SHALL RISE FIRST: Then we which are ALIVE AND REMAIN SHALL BE CAUGHT UP together with them in the clouds, to MEET THE LORD IN THE AIR: and so shall we ever be with the Lord" (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17)
