SECRET PLACE OF THE MOST HIGH

1. As of today, there is no nation or portion of the earth that is not embroiled in one form of distress or the other, “Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken” [Luke 21:26] Biting economic meltdown, palpable social disorder and unprecedented climatic instabilities fuel morbid FEAR of what lies ahead. The rich are busy building underground shelters for SAFETY as atomic warfare loom; it is an exercise in futility, “The horse is prepared against the day of battle: but SAFETY IS OF THE LORD” [Proverbs 21;31] The most powerful nations have given up on surviving nuclear war; they are working on raising colonies on Mars and Moon but will not succeed, “Though thou exalt thyself as the eagle, and though thou set thy nest among the stars, thence will I bring thee down, saith the LORD” [Obadiah 1:4] SAFETY in present afflictions and DELIVERANCE from future uncertainties belong in the SECRET PLACE OF THE MOST HIGH, “He that DWELLETH in the SECRET PLACE OF THE MOST HIGH shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, He is my REFUGE and my FORTRESS: my God; in him will I trust” [Psalms 91:1-2]

2. DOOR to the SECRET PLACE OF THE MOST HIGH is Jesus Christ, “Then said Jesus unto them … I AM THE DOOR: by me if any man enter in, he shall be SAVED, and shall go in and out, and find pasture” [John 10:7-9] The FATHER, foreknowing a time like this when the very fabric of human existence would be threatened by onslaught of hordes of hell prepared Himself a BODY to rescue us in the SON, “For GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD, that he gave his ONLY BEGOTTEN SON, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” [John 3:16] Those who will dwell in the SECRET PLACE OF THE MOST HIGH enter by FAITH in the revelation of the FATHER manifest in Jesus Christ to RECONCILE us to Himself, “To wit, that GOD WAS IN CHRIST, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the WORD OF RECONCILIATION” [2 Corinthians 5:19] The WORD OF RECONCILIATION we preach is the same which was in the beginning and is God, John 1:1; this is the MYSTERY hidden in times past, now revealed to those who will receive it, “And without controversy great is the MYSTERY of godliness: GOD WAS MAIFEST IN THE FLESH,….” [1 Timothy 3:16] The DOOR to the SECRET PLACE OF THE MOST HIGH is wide open, the worst offender is welcome and there are no restrictions, as it is written: “Come unto me, all ye that LABOUR and are HEAVY LADEN, and I WILL GIVE YOU REST” [Matthew 11:28]

3. SECRET PLACE OF THE MOST HIGH is secured on God’s infallible PROMISE to REDEEM us through Jesus Christ, “Wherein God, willing more abundantly to shew unto the HEIRS OF PROMISE the immutability of his counsel, confirmed it by an oath: That by two immutable things, in which it was IMPOSSIBLE FOR GOD TO LIE, we might have a STRONG CONSOLATION, who have FLED FOR REFUGE to lay hold upon the HOPE set before us” [Hebrews 6:17-18] God’s PROMISE is not a catalogue of promissory notes but a certain assurance to endow us with ETERNAL LIFE, that is, the LIFE of the FATHER which was in the SON is now in us, “And this is the PROMISE that he hath promised us, even ETERNAL LIFE. These things have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you” [1 John 2:25-26] ETERNAL LIFE is God in us, our SHIELD and exceeding GREAT REWARD in a world overwhelmed with distress, “After these things the WORD of the LORD came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy SHIELD, and thy exceeding GREAT REWARD” [Genesis 15:1] Listen carefully, dwelling in the SECRET PLACE OF THE MOST HIGH does not translate to immunity from present realities; God in us and we in Him keeps us in His PEACE when all around are losing their heads, “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me YE MIGHT HAVE PEACE. In the world YE SHALL HAVE TRIBULATION: but be of good cheer; I HAVE OVERCOME THE WORLD” [John 16:33]

4. Dwelling in the SECRET PLACE OF THE MOST HIGH is not a one-time decision; if a man abides for a while and draws back in FAITH, he is cast out, “… IF ANY MAN DRAW BACK, my soul shall have no pleasure in him. But we are not of them who DRAW BACK UNTO PERDITION; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul” [Hebrews 10:38-39] If any man will keep his place in the SECRET PLACE, he must continue in DIVINE PURPOSE. We are not SAVED to warm pews, there is a PURPOSE for each soul redeemed with the BLOOD of Jesus Christ. We are pieces of God’s masonry designed to accomplish DIVINE AGENDA, “Ye also, as LIVELY STONES, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to OFFER UP SPIRITUAL SACRIFICES, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ” [1 Peter 2:5] We will not all be Apostles and or General Overseer; there is something God requires of you and endowed you with gifts, “As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as GOOD STEWARDS of the manifold grace of God” [1 Peter 4:10] Do due diligence to KNOW and FULFIL your PURPOSE and in doing so secure your place in the SHADOW of the ALMIGHTY. God is faithful, who has called you both to SAVE and DELIVER you from present and future afflictions, “And FEAR NOT THEM WHICH KILL THE BODY, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell” [Matthew 10:28]
