FAITH IS PILGRIMAGE of following the STAR, that is, Jesus Christ. In every age, wise men follow the STAR through thick and thin to arrive in the presence of God. The Bible says: “Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem, Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him” Matthew 2:1-2
The wise men in the story saw the STAR because they “looked ” up” far above their fears, worries and rat race around them. They discerned and accepted the STAR to be more precious than gold, power, fame, etc. They went further and took a step of faith; put everything aside to follow the STAR and they were not ashamed.
I tell you, life is a turbulent odyssey in uncharted stormy seas. Jesus Christ is the STAR that shines through the darkest clouds and leads wise men to glorious shores of eternity. I challenge you to “see” beyond the dark clouds of distress and sorrows; the STAR is waiting for you.
Take a step of faith and accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour. There shall be challenges on the way but the presence and comfort of the Lord will see you through. Make that move today and join the company of wise men on pilgrimage to everlasting glory, amen
