1. SPIRITUAL MAPPING
■ The SEVEN CHURCHES to which Jesus wrote letters in Revelation 2 & 3 are present-day TURKEY. Antioch, where Saints were first called Christians is also in TURKEY.
■ Constantinople, now Istanbul, became Christian capital of the Roman empire in 330 AD and for the next one thousand years, the launch pad of Christianity to the world.
■ The Ottoman Empire sacked Constantinople in 1493 AD, established Islam as official State Religion; ever since ensued a systemic extermination of faith and heritage of Christianity.
■ Over the years, churches were converted to mosques and Christianity all but criminalised with oppressive laws and taxes.
■ As of today, TURKEY is for all purposes an Islamic nation with less than 1% of other faiths. Government rhetorics paint Christianity as foreign influence, hiding the historical roots of Christianity in TURKEY to justify cruelpersecution.
■ As a result, Christian missionaries and their families are treated as threats to national security; those who manage to get in are deported.
■ State regulations/laws hinder legal operation of churches.
2. PRAYER POINTS

■ Ask the Lord to strengthen His Saints in TURKEY in the inner man and enlighten their understanding of truth in hope of His imminent appearance [Ephesians 1:18, Ephesians 3:16,]
■ Ask the LORD to revive His work in TURKEY; raise men who will open the wells of righteousness which His Apostles dug but were sealed by adversaries [Genesis 26: 18-22]
