    SAMARIA SYNDROME

    1. JESUS CHRIST ministering to the Samaritan woman at Jacob’s Well in Samaria is vintage one-on-one evangelism. The common denominator was water, “There cometh a woman of Samaria to draw water: Jesus saith unto her, Give me to drink” [John 4:7] The one thing we all have in common and hold dear above or else is”LIFE” represented by water. While the woman argued about which denomination was better, Jews or Samaritan, JESUS slipped in the matter of SIN and made Himself known, “For thou hast had five husbands; and he whom thou now hast is not thy husband: in that saidst thou truly. … The woman saith unto him, I know that Messias cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things. Jesus saith unto her, I that speak unto thee am he” [John 4:18,25-26] The woman believed and immediately went into the city, bearing witness of CHRIST and the people, hearing her testimony believed and came to JESUS, “And many more believed because of his own word; And said unto the woman, Now we believe, not because of thy saying: for we have heard him ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Christ, the Saviour of the world” [John 4:41-42]


    2. JESUS CHRIST was the foundation of the Church in Samaria yet the people faltered and fell into the hands of a charlatan; the SAMARIA SYNDROME, “… there was a certain man, called Simon, which beforetime in the same city used SORCERY, and BEWITCHED THE PEOPLE of Samaria, giving out that himself was some great one: To whom they all gave heed, from the least to the greatest, saying, This man is the great power of God” [Acts 8:9-10] To “BEWITCH” is to manipulate through misrepresentation of the TRUTH. In this case Simon enchanted the people with spells, pretending to be a servant of God. In Galatia, Judaizers corrupted the Church misrepresenting obsolete rituals as PresentTruth, “O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you? Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?” [Galatians 3:1,3] SAMARIA SYNDROME is inevitable predicament of every generation that refuses to WATCH and PRAY. Therefore, it is written: “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world” [1 Peter 5:8-9]


    3. We may never know how long from encounter at Jacob’s Well, John 4:5-42 to emergence of Simon the Sorcerer in Acts 8:5-25. However, one thing is clear, it is almost 2,000 years since JESUS ascended to make ready the MARRIAGE SUPPER of the LAMB and SAMARITAN SYNDROME has well set in, as foretold, “While the bridegroom tarried, they ALL SLUMBERED and slept” [Matthew 25:5] This Church is pressed beyond measure by Sorcerers masquerading as Ministers of the GOSPEL, casting spells on multitudes and working spirits of divination for filthy lucre. When they do make mention of JESUS, it is as a bait in the manner of the damsel at Philippi, “… possessed with a spirit of divination met us, which brought her masters much gain by soothsaying: The same followed Paul and us, and cried, saying, These are the servants of the most high God, which shew unto us the way of salvation” [Acts men16:16-17] Perhaps, more ruinous to the flocks are the brood of vipers who mishandle the TRUTH, peddling material possessions as proof of godliness, “… men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, SUPPOSING THAT GAIN IS GODLINESS: from such withdraw thyself” [1 Timothy 6:5] One oppresses with Sorcery only to present themselves as “great power of God “. The other promises heaven on earth and themselves as portals to “prosperity”.


    4. SAMARIA SYNDROME is better known as popular face of Christianity, shiny Cathedrals bursting at the seams with men and riches, which in reality are cesspools of grieving souls, “… which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men’s bones, and of all uncleanness” [Matthew 23:27] God’s ears are filled with cry of the afflicted and as in Samaria is set to deliver His own out from the nest of vipers, “And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, COME OUT OF HER, MY PEOPLE, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues” [Revelation 18:4] This is the ultimate Exodus, we are crossing the clouds to meet JESUS in the AIR but first, we shall be refreshed, strenghened and made ready by the LATTER RAIN. God surely has reserved the best for the end, the GREAT REVIVAL, an unprecedented outpouring of the Holy Ghost. The earth indeed is shaken as God’s end-time army is mustered at the sound of the MIDNIGHT CRY,  “And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; GO YE OUT TO MEET HIM” [Matthew 25:6] Beloved, we are going away in blaze of glory, this is translation season, time to pray earnestly for the LATTER RAIN, “Ask ye of the LORD rain in the time of the latter rain; so the LORD shall make bright clouds, and give them showers of rain, to every one grass in the field” [Zechariah 10:1]

    1. Man is an apparent contradiction, the "BREATH OF GOD" wrapped in brittle clay, Genesis 2:7, a mystery to say the least, "Thou madest him a little lower than the angels; thou crownedst him with glory and honour, and didst set him over the works of thy hands: Thou hast put all things in subjection under his feet. ... But now we see not yet all things put under him" [Hebrews 2:7-8] God was not unmindful of weaknesses of FLESH and foreknowing SIN, nonetheless gave us FREE WILL that the excellency of His COUNSEL alone might prevail, "In whom also we have OBTAINED AN INHERITANCE, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will" [Ephesians 1:11] As soon as Adam and Eve fell into SIN, God put His COUNSEL into motion, BLOOD of a lamb was shed and "COATS OF SKINS" made for them, Genesis 3:21; a shadow of predetermined REDEMPTION through the BLOOD of JESUS CHRIST, "But with the precious BLOOD OF CHRIST, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you" [ Peter 1:19-20]

    2. Whereas blood of lambs as "covering" for SIN did not prevent SIN, God was faithful to His own; upholding their feet with His mercies, "He will KEEP THE FEET OF HIS SAINTS, and the wicked shall be silent in darkness; for by strength shall no man prevail" [1 Samuel 2:9] The pattern was akin to a baby learning to walk, faltering ever so often and rising; there were "REMNANTS" in every age who  sought Him and were REVIVED, "Then shall ye CALL UPON ME, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall SEEK ME, and FIND ME, when ye shall search for me with all your heart" [Jeremiah 29:12-13] As early as the second generation from Adam, things were as bad as they could be, the world overtaken by ungodliness, "And to Seth, to him also there was born a son; and he called his name Enos: then BEGAN MEN TO CALL UPON THE NAME OF THE LORD" [Genesis 4:26] The recurring adversary was SIN,, that is, Satan working in the FLESH to subvert in rebellion against the Spirit of God, "For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that YE CANNOT DO THE THINGS THAT YE WOULD" [Galatians 5:17] We were helpless and lost but God who made us a "LITTLE LOWER THAN ANGELS" kept His agenda to perfect His purpose in man.close to His chest.

    3. Adam was put to deep sleep while God fashioned Eve from his rib, hosts of heaven were blindsided by His WISDOM in "allowing" SIN. This He did that He might through MAN "bruise the head of Satan, Genesis 3:15. And the MAN was JESUS CHRIST, "To wit, that God was in Christ, ... For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him" [2 Corinthians 5:19,21] This is the mystery hid from men and angels, through the ages, how God became like us in JESUS CHRIST and by His death on the Cross broke the stranglehold of SIN, "... the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory" [1 Corinthians 2:7-8] By grace through faith in JESUS CHRIST, we are BORN AGAIN having God's righteousness of God, compatible with His Spirit , "... in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory" [2 Corinthians 1:22] We are no longer babes but co-labourers with God, "For we are LABOURERS TOGETHER WITH GOD: ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building" [1 Corinthians 3:9]

    4. We have God in us yet we are not the finished work, "... we have this TREASURE IN EARTHEN VESSELS, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us" [2 Corinthians 4:7] Yoke of SIN is broken but this "earthen vessel" by nature is subject to "leakages". Classic example, the Apostles and disciples were filled with the Holy Ghost in Acts 2:1-4 and suffering "leakages", required to be "filled" and REVIVED, "And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were ALL FILLED WITH THE HOLY GHOST, ..." [Acts 4:31] Every Church Age began with SAINTS being "filled" and requiring to be refilled by reason of "leakages". We are the Laodicean Church, pregnant with SONS of God and shall be delivered by LATTER RAIN, "For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God" [Romans 8:19-20] PENTECOST came with "fire" to consume SIN, LATTER RAIN is ULTIMATE OUTPOURING of "living waters" that brings forth a bountiful harvest of SONS made ready for RAPTURE [Isaiah 32:15] I invite you to join us every Wednesday on Zoom to pray down the LATTER RAIN, as it is written: "Ask ye of the LORD rain in the time of the latter rain; so the LORD shall make bright clouds, and give them showers of rain,to every one grass in the field" [Zechariah 10:1]

    THE GREAT REVIVAL
    
“Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain” [James 5:7]
    

    1. The great revival is the latter rain.
    
It is the ultimate outpouring of the Holy Ghost to prepare and seal the Elect and wise virgins for rapture. This is the capstone revival that seals all revivals and was hid under layers of precepts and shadows. The Bible says: “And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy…” [Joel 2:28] The cloven tongues of fire at Pentecost fulfilled precept and shadows [Acts 2:1-4] We know there were no Eskimos, Mongols, Chinese, Japanese, Mexicans, Nigerians and indeed not “all flesh” were in Jerusalem for the former rain, where Apostle Peter declared: “And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy…” [Acts 2:17] Truly, the “last days” are here and early showers of the latter rain are falling on “all flesh”. The former rain was fire, the latter rain is like lightning that lights up heaven and earth before the coming of the Lord, as it is written: “For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be” [Matthew 24:27] The latter rain is the decisive outpouring of God’s power to preach Christ and fulfill prophecy as foretold: “And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come” [Matthew 24:14]
    

    2. The great revival is Christ judging the Church.
    
The Bible says: “For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?” [1 Peter 4:17] The great revival is power of Christ moving through the Church to separate wheat from tares. The brightness of His glory exposes every secret sin and all thoughts and intents of the heart are naked before Him. Holy angels are on duty separating and gathering tares from the harvest field, as it is written: “…and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn” [Matthew 13:30-39] Wise virgins are the wheat and foolish virgins are tares. Tares are gathered first in “bundles” and refers to the “falling away” of sects and denominations into inter-faith groups, as it is written: “Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition” [2 Thessalonians 2:3] As the great revival gathers steam, those who will not endure sound doctrine of Christ are falling across religious divides to foster global religious unity [2 Timothy 4:3] The moves by United Nations and religious leaders to foster universal peace through inter-faith communion sees the “bundles” coming together in fulfillment of prophecy.
    

    3. The great revival is the midnight cry.
    
This generation is synonymous with Laodicea Church, of which the Lord said: “Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked” [Revelation 3:17] The Church in Laodicea was materially rich but deluded and spiritually comatose. Everywhere you look today, you see shiny cathedrals and sleek jets but this Church is deluded and slumbering, as it is written: “While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept” [Matthew 25:5] The great revival is the voice of prophecy; crying to revive the Church in readiness for the appearance of the Lord. It is the Spirit of prophecy warning the Church and saying: “…Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light” [Ephesians 5:14] The great revival is the midnight cry at the darkest hour since creation, as the Bible says: “And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him” [Matthew 25:6] The midnight cry is the heartbeat of Christ and the voice of “friends of the bridegroom”, who did not sleep but stayed awake to receive Him [John 3:29] The midnight cry is Present Truth and message of the Spirit to the last Church age.
    

    4. The great revival is prophecy fulfilled.
    
The Bible says: “Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ” [Ephesians 4:13] This promise is fulfilled as the great revival gathers steam. We know that God made man in His own image and was manifest in Christ as prototype of God in man. The early showers of the latter rain are falling and the Elect are coming up in the “measure of the fullness of Christ. As we go deeper into the great revival the expectations of heaven and earth shall be fulfilled in the manifestation of sons of God, as it is written: “For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God” [Romans 8:19] A great army of sons of God is mustering in all nations by the workings of the Holy Ghost. They shall march across the earth with great grace and power, witnessing of Christ and His Coming. The great revival is coming like a fierce storm with authority that the earth had never seen and thus shall the words of Christ be fulfilled; “…He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father” [John 14:12] I tell you, the “greater works” are here; if you believe you shall surely see the glory of God, amen [John 11:40]
    

    5. The great revival is the seal of translation.
    
The Lord Jesus Christ laid the foundation and built His Church on His spotless blood. He is returning to receive the Bride and; “…a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish [Ephesians 5:27] The great revival is the season of separating, cleansing and sealing the Bride and wise virgins for translation at His appearance in clouds of glory. Beloved, there has been no time since Adam when so much prophecy matches reality. The failing economies, social disorder, terror, famine, pestilence and wars are the “beginning of sorrows” and cue for rapture. Our translation is imminent and shall be done; “In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed” [1 Corinthians 15:52] As the great revival kicks off, we are surrounded by the advance party of angel reapers, marking and sealing the Elect and wise virgins for rapture. First, the Elect; “…are sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise” [Ephesians 1:13] Two, wise virgins are called out of cesspools of Babylon, sanctified and cleansed; “…with the washing of water by the word” [Ephesians 5:26]When the last wise virgin is in, the door of grace shall be shut. I testify that today is the day of salvation. Repent and accept the Lord Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour, tomorrow may be too late.
